About this package handler gift
Package handlers work the overnight sort, lifting boxes from the dock to the belt for hours at a stretch, and the gifts they tend to keep are the ones that respect the grind. A soft tee for sleeping through the day, a hoodie for the cold loading bay in January, a mug that's clearly theirs for the break room where lunch boxes get swapped. The part that lands hardest is the job itself. Put package handler on the shirt and add their shift, their building or their year on the second line, so it stops being a generic work shirt and becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name printed on their own shirt says more than another round of donuts. Handlers often pick up work through the holiday peak in late fall, when the volume climbs and the nights get longer, so ordering a few weeks ahead keeps the gift from arriving after the rush.
