About this polysom tech gift
Polysomnography techs spend their nights awake so other people can sleep, watching monitors, placing electrodes and keeping an eye on patients in dim sleep labs. It's a job most people have never heard of, which makes a gift with their title on it feel like someone finally noticed. Many techs work overnight shifts and are often the only person in the room, so a warm hoodie for the cold lab or a mug for the long night makes sense. Adding their credential, such as RPSGT or RST, shows you know the field. Put their name or the year they started on a second line and it becomes theirs. Graduates of sleep technology programs and newly certified techs especially appreciate a gift that marks the milestone.
