About this process steward gift
A process steward is the person who keeps a workplace's grievance and contract procedures moving, often without much recognition for the hours spent on phone calls, paperwork and meetings that run long. They tend to be the calm one in a tense room, and they carry a lot of other people's problems home with them. A gift that acknowledges the work without making it sound heavy tends to land best: a tee they can wear on a day off, a hoodie for the early meeting in a cold hall, or a mug that's theirs for the long stretch of desk time. Put their name on it, or their local number if they're proud of it, and it becomes personal. If you're buying for a whole steward team, the Team Shop lets you choose one design and print each person's name on their own shirt, which is a nice way to say you noticed the group.
