About this amateur radio gift
Amateur radio operators, or hams, are the people who build their own antennas, keep logs of contacts across the world, and spend weekend mornings tuning in to a crackling band to see who answers. They often have a call sign they're proud of, and many are happy to talk for an hour about propagation, field day or a repeater that finally got fixed. A gift that lands for them shows you know the hobby is more than a radio on a desk. Put the word amateur radio on a tee or a hoodie they can wear to a club meeting or a field day, or add a second line for their call sign so it's unmistakably theirs. A mug for the shack works well too, since many operators keep coffee close during late-night contests. Whatever you choose, the design is the hook; the detail that makes it feel personal is the call sign or a club name they already use.
