About this ancramdale gift
Ancramdale is a small hamlet in the Town of Ancram in Columbia County, in the Hudson Valley region of New York. Because it is so small, a shirt or mug with the name is often for someone who grew up there, has family nearby, or just loves a quiet rural corner of the state. Many people from small places like this want a way to show where they're from without a big sign or a long explanation, and a simple wordmark does that well. A tee for summer days out in the country, a hoodie for cold nights, or a mug for the morning coffee routine all make sense. If the person has moved away, a piece with the hamlet's name can be the thing that reminds them of home. You can keep the design plain, or add a second line with a year or a family name to make it theirs.
