About this assawoman gift
Assawoman is a small community on the Delaware-Maryland line near the Atlantic coast, a name that carries a lot of local meaning for anyone who grew up with it or spent summers nearby. The person who'd receive this gift may be a longtime resident, a former local who moved away, or a visitor who fell for the place. A shirt or mug with the name is the easiest way to say you know where they're from. Add a second line with a year, a street or a nickname from home and it stops being a souvenir and becomes theirs. Hoodies suit the cooler months when the bay wind picks up, and a mug is a good pick for the transplant who misses the view from their porch. Since the name itself may be unfamiliar to many shoppers, a short note with the gift explaining why the place matters to them can make it land even better.
