About this bandera gift
Bandera is a small town in the Texas Hill Country, the kind of place where the cowboy heritage is still part of everyday life and people know each other by their roads and their ranches. Bandera calls itself the Cowboy Capital of the World, and that's a claim you'll hear about often if you're from there. A Bandera shirt is how someone who grew up in the Hill Country, or moved away and misses the limestone and the river, shows where they're from. It's also a good fit for a visitor who spent a weekend on the Guadalupe and wants a reminder. Put the town name front and center, add a second line with a year or a family name, and it becomes a keepsake rather than a souvenir. For someone who has left, a mug on the morning counter does the same job every day.
