About this beardstown gift
Beardstown is a small river town in west-central Illinois, the kind of place where people who leave tend to come back for the Fourth of July and the high school game. A shirt with the town name is how a Beardstown native says where they're from when they're three states away. Because a town this size doesn't have a lot of souvenir shops, a personal design goes a long way. Add a graduation year, a class, or a family name on the second line and the shirt becomes a memory instead of a souvenir. A hoodie works well for the cold river evenings and for anyone heading off to college. A mug suits the grandparent or the former resident who misses home. Many designs also come as kids tees and baby onesies, so a whole family can match.
