About this big island gift
Big Island is Hawaii's largest island and the one people from the rest of the state call simply the Big Island, a place of volcanoes, coffee farms and long stretches of black lava rock. Someone who grew up there, or who spent years working on the Kona coast or in Hilo, carries that landscape with them, and a shirt with Big Island on it is a quick way to say where home is. A tee or hoodie works for the person who now lives on the mainland and misses the trade winds, and a mug is the everyday reminder for someone who still checks the volcano updates. Add a town like Kona, Waimea or Hilo on the second line and the design becomes theirs. Hawaii's weather is mild year-round, so a light tee suits most of the island's climate, while a hoodie is the right pick for a trip up to the cooler slopes or a chilly mainland winter.
