About this bird gift
Bird can mean a few different people, and the gift works best when you know which one you're shopping for. For a bird lover, it's the backyard feeder watcher who keeps a notebook of every cardinal and chickadee, or the hiker who stops mid-trail to chase a warbler through binoculars. For someone named Bird, it's a family name that gets a laugh every time it shows up on a roster. Either way, a shirt or hoodie with the word on it gives them something to wear on the walk, the birding trip or the family reunion. Add a second line, like a species, a home state or the year they started birding, and the design stops being generic. There are designs for kids too, so a young naturalist can match a parent on the next trip to the lake.
All bird gifts →- A tee for the birding tripA light or dark tee with Bird and a second line for their favorite species or home state works well for early morning walks.
- A hoodie for cold-morning feedersBirders stand still in the cold longer than anyone expects, so a warm hoodie with their name or the word Bird is a practical pick.
- A mug for the window seatAn 11oz mug suits the person who keeps the feeder full and watches it from the kitchen every morning.
- Matching kids teesA kids tee lets a young birder wear the same word as a parent on the next outing.
