About this brookfield gift
Brookfield is a name that shows up on a lot of maps, from Wisconsin to Illinois to Connecticut, so the person you're shopping for may be a Brookfield native who left and still gets homesick, or someone who just likes the sound of the word. A shirt with the town name is an easy way to claim a hometown, and the place name does most of the work. For a longtime resident, a hoodie or tee with the town on it shows up at the high school game, the farmers market or the family reunion without a word. For someone who moved away, a mug on the kitchen counter is a small daily reminder of where they started. Brookfield is also a good word for a family that's been there for generations, where a shirt for each relative makes a group photo. You can keep the design simple and let the town name carry it, or use the second line for a street, a year or the family name.
