About this callahan gift
Callahan is an Irish surname, and families who carry it tend to take their name seriously. It shows up at reunions, on the back of a 5K shirt for a cousin who runs every year, and on the coffee mug that sits by the stove while someone reads the paper. A Callahan shirt is how a family finds each other in a crowd at a wedding or a big holiday dinner, and it's the photo everyone asks for years later. Dark tees work well for the grown-up cousins who like black, and the baby onesie is the easy way to bring a new Callahan into the family photos. For a family event, add the year, the town where the branch started, or the names of the grandparents underneath the surname, which turns a matching shirt into a small piece of family history. Hoodies suit the cold-weather reunions and the college kids who are always cold.
