About this calumet city gift
Calumet City is a small city on the Illinois side of the Chicago area, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the city name is how a former resident shows they're from the south suburbs, whether they're back for a holiday, starting a new job in another state, or just tired of being asked where Chicago is. Because it's a smaller place than the city next door, a Calumet City design often means more to someone who knows the streets, the schools and the local spots than a generic Chicago tee would. For a grad heading off to college or a transplant who misses home, a hoodie or mug with the city on it is a quiet reminder of where they started. You can type a graduation year or a neighborhood into the second line to make it theirs.
