About this castillo gift
Castillo is a Spanish surname that means castle, and families who carry it often have a lot of relatives spread across different cities and countries. A shirt with the family name gives everyone a way to recognize each other at a reunion, a quinceañera, a wedding or a holiday dinner where cousins are meeting for the first time in years. The name carries a sense of history, and the person receiving this gift may have a story about where their branch of the family started or who first brought the name to their home. Add a second line with a reunion year, a family branch, or a city where the family gathers, and the shirt becomes a small record of who belongs together. For the person who keeps the family group chat going and remembers every birthday, a hoodie or mug with Castillo on it fits right into their everyday routine.
