About this chardon gift
Chardon is a small city in northeast Ohio, the county seat of Geauga County, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a reunion, a college football game or a family trip back for the holidays. Chardon is a place where people know each other, so a shirt or mug with the name lands as a personal joke or a point of pride rather than a generic souvenir. For someone who left for a job or school and misses the familiar streets, a mug is the daily reminder. For someone still living there, a hoodie is the thing they'll reach for in the cold months. Add a second line, such as a year they graduated or a street, to make it theirs.
