About this chateaugay gift
Chateaugay is a small town in upstate New York, in Franklin County near the Adirondacks, and the people who come from there tend to hold on to it. A shirt with the town name is how a former resident signals home at a reunion, a high school event, or a trip back for the holidays. Many of the people who leave are still tied to the place even after years away, so a Chateaugay tee or hoodie often lands as a reminder of where they started. A mug suits the one who keeps a town map on the fridge or talks about the old main street. For a kid, a baby onesie or kids tee can mark a family's roots from the first day. Use the second line for a year, a graduating class, or a family name to make the design personal to them.
