About this clarendon gift
Clarendon is a place name people usually recognize from one of a few settings: a neighborhood, a street, a town or a small city, depending on where you're from. If someone you're shopping for has a Clarendon in their life, the shirt or mug is a quick way to say you know where they come from. A place shirt tends to land best with people who have moved away, who went to school there, or who simply feel a strong pull toward home. Put the name on a tee or hoodie for the local who never leaves the area, or on an 11 oz mug for the kitchen counter where they start every morning. For a new baby born in or named after the place, a baby onesie carries the same idea in a smaller size. Because the word is a specific local name, the second line is a good spot for a neighborhood, a year or a short phrase that only they would recognize.
