About this clarinda gift
Clarinda is a small city in southwest Iowa, and the people who call it home tend to care about it a lot. A Clarinda shirt is how someone who grew up there, or who moved away and still counts it as home, shows that. It's the kind of gift that fits a homecoming visit, a Clarinda-born relative living in a bigger city, or a friend who has never stopped talking about their hometown. Small-town pride tends to show up in the everyday things: the coffee mug on the kitchen counter, the hoodie for a cold morning, the tee for the county fair or a family reunion. Since the word is a place name, the best way to make the gift theirs is to add the detail that only they would recognize, such as the year they graduated, the family name, or the street they grew up on. A Clarinda shirt says more when it carries something personal about the person wearing it.
