About this clarkfield gift
Clarkfield is a small town in western Minnesota, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Someone who left for college or a job in the Twin Cities still thinks of themselves as from Clarkfield when a conversation turns to home. A shirt or mug with the town name is a quiet way to say that. It suits someone who goes back for the holidays, a family reunion, or the high school homecoming, and it's a good pick for a transplant who misses the small-town feel. Since the town is modest in size, the design itself does most of the work, so a little personal detail helps: add the year they graduated, a class, or the street they grew up on in the second line. That turns a town name into their town.
