About this clayhole gift
Clayhole is a small place name, and I don't know enough about it to say much about its history, landmarks or local life, so I'll stick to what a gift for someone from there can do. People who grew up in a small town often carry its name with more pride than they'd admit, and a shirt or mug with the name on it is a quiet way to say you know where they're from. Small towns also tend to be where people come back to, for holidays, reunions and funerals, and a piece of clothing that says where they belong fits that. If the name means something to the person you're buying for, add the year they left, the year they moved back, or the street they grew up on in the second line. A hoodie suits the cold months, and the mug works for anyone who'd like a daily reminder of home.
