About this cortland gift
Cortland is a small city in upstate New York, and the people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, whether they're still around or have moved off to bigger places. A Cortland shirt is a quiet way to say where you're from, the kind of thing worn to a reunion, a home game, or a trip back to see family. Because it's a smaller place, a Cortland design tends to mean more to the people who know it, and the recipient will notice that you picked it on purpose. Think about the connections they carry with the town: a school they went to, a street they walked every day, a family that's been around for years. Use the second line on a shirt or hoodie for a graduation year or a neighborhood, and a generic town shirt becomes a piece of their story. For someone who left and misses it, a mug or onesie with Cortland on it works as a small reminder of home.
