About this day heights gift
Day Heights is a small place, and the people who grew up in it or came up through it tend to know each other's streets and families. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it, whether they still live there, went off to college and came back, or moved away years ago and miss it. Since the name is local and specific, a gift that says Day Heights tells the recipient you know where they're from. For someone who's left, a mug with the town name on it becomes a daily reminder of home. For someone who's still there, a hoodie for the cold months puts the town on their shoulders when they walk around. Add a second line with a street, a year or a school if it fits their story, and the shirt becomes theirs instead of a generic town souvenir.
