About this daysville gift
Daysville is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A Daysville shirt is how they claim the town at a family reunion, at a college campus three states away, or on a visit back home to see whoever still lives on the old street. Small towns don't have much merch, so a shirt with the name on it is a real find. Add a second line for the year someone was born, the high school class, or the street they grew up on, and it becomes a memory rather than a souvenir. For someone who left and misses it, a Daysville mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder of where they come from. Because the town is small, a lot of people will recognize the name right away, which gives the gift its own kind of pride.
