About this dequincy gift
Dequincy is a small town in southwest Louisiana, in Calcasieu Parish, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they end up. A town that size means everybody knows somebody, and a shirt with the name on it is an easy way to say you're from there. Think about the person you're shopping for: are they the one who moved to Houston or Dallas and still checks in on the local news, or someone who never left and wears the same faded tee to the Friday night game? Either way, a Dequincy design says where they're from without a long explanation. Add a second line with a graduation year, a street or a family name, and it becomes theirs. Since this is a small place, a hoodie or a mug is often a better bet than a generic souvenir, because it's the kind of thing that gets used every day.
