About this downsville gift
Downsville is a small place, and people from small places tend to hold onto them hard. Someone who grew up there, or who moved away and still counts it as home, probably knows every back road and which diner closed. A shirt with the town name is how they say so, whether they're wearing it to a hometown visit, a reunion, or just across the country where nobody else has heard of it. Because the name is the whole point, it works best when you add something that's theirs: the year they left, the class they graduated with, or a nickname the town gave them. Many designs have a second line for exactly that. For the transplant, a mug with the town name is a small daily reminder of where they started. Check the preview before ordering, since a longer second line can change how the design sits on the shirt.
