About this east lyme gift
East Lyme is a shoreline town on Long Island Sound in southeastern Connecticut, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with East Lyme on it is how someone who moved away wears their hometown, and how a current resident shows they belong to the place. The shoreline shapes daily life, from summer beach days to cold mornings on the water, so a tee or hoodie that fits that everyday life lands well. For a graduate heading off to college or a new job elsewhere, a hoodie with East Lyme and their year is a reminder of where they started. For the homesick transplant, a mug with the town name is the small morning reminder of home. You can personalize the second line with a graduation year, a family name or a neighborhood, so the shirt becomes theirs and not just a souvenir.
