About this escondido gift
Escondido is a city in North County San Diego, and the people who call it home tend to say so with pride. It has a long history with citrus and avocado groves, a downtown that has been reshaped over the years, and a mix of families, commuters and longtime locals who all claim the same town. A shirt or mug that says Escondido works as a hometown souvenir for someone who has moved away, a gift for a new resident who is still learning the streets, or simply a way for a local to wear where they're from. Mention the neighborhood or the year they moved in as a second line, and the design starts to feel like theirs. The city's name is also a fun conversation starter, since it's Spanish for hidden, and a shirt is an easy way to start that talk.
