About this fairmount gift
Fairmount is a name that usually means one of a few things: a neighborhood, a street, a school, or a small town people are proud of. Whoever this gift is for, they probably know the place by heart, from the corner store to the way the traffic backs up on a certain avenue. A shirt or hoodie with Fairmount on it is a way of saying you know where they're from and you're glad they're there. Because the word is less familiar to most shoppers than a big city, a little personal detail goes a long way. Add a second line with a street, a year they moved in, or the school they graduated from, and the design starts to belong only to them. A mug suits the kitchen of someone who loves home, and a hoodie works for the cold months when they're out walking their own streets.
