About this fencer gift
Fencers spend hours drilling footwork, lunges and parries before they ever get to touch a real opponent, and most of them love their sport more than they can easily explain to people outside it. A fencing shirt is a good way to show that. A tee or dark tee with Fencer on the front and a club name, a weapon like foil, epee or sabre, or a year on the second line tells the bout-watchers in the room exactly what they're looking at. Fencing is also a sport full of tournament weekends and early-morning practices, so a hoodie for the drive to a meet or a mug for the cold walk into the salle is practical as well as personal. If you're buying for a teammate or coach, the weapon they fence is the detail that makes it feel chosen for them rather than picked off a rack.
