About this fillmore gift
Fillmore is the kind of place name that makes a person pause and say, wait, which one? Plenty of towns and small cities share the name across the country, so the first thing a gift for a Fillmore resident or former resident should do is get the spelling and the town right. The people who live there tend to be proud of the small-town scale, the place they grew up, the high school ball field and the main street they still drive down. A shirt that says Fillmore on the front and a second line with the year they were born, or the state they're from, reads as a personal joke rather than a souvenir. For someone who left and misses it, a mug with the town name is the daily reminder of where the good memories started. Keep the wording simple, because the name does the work.
