About this fiskdale gift
Fiskdale is a small village in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto it hard. A shirt or mug with the name is for the native who moved away and still says they're from Fiskdale, for the family that has been in town for generations, and for the friend who finally had to ask where you're from. Because it's such a small place, most people won't recognize the name on sight, so the gift lands best when you add a line that tells the story: the year they were born, the street they lived on, or the school they went to. A hoodie suits the kid heading off to college who wants to bring home with them, and a mug fits the kitchen of someone who misses the quiet roads and the familiar faces. Pick a design that matches the way they talk about the place, whether that's proud, nostalgic or just plainly theirs.
