About this flensburg gift
Flensburg is a port city on the Baltic coast in northern Germany, close to the Danish border, and people who come from there often carry that mix of two countries in their accent and their habits. A shirt with the city name is how a former student, a relative who emigrated, or a friend who's proud of their hometown shows it. Flensburg has a long maritime past and a harbor that still looks out toward Denmark, so a design with a sailing or harbor feel suits someone who misses the water. If you're buying for someone who studied or worked there, a hoodie for the cold months or a mug for the morning coffee keeps the city close. Use the second line for a neighborhood, a school, or the year they lived there to make it their own.
