About this forest hill gift
Forest Hill is a neighborhood people tend to know by its residents: longtime locals, families who moved in for the schools, and friends who ended up there by way of a lease or a job across town. A shirt with the neighborhood name is how someone who lives there, or once did, shows where they belong. It works as a homecoming gift for someone who moved away and misses the streets, or as a welcome present for a new resident settling in. Add a second line with a street, a year they moved in, or a nickname the neighborhood uses, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic place tee. A mug suits the kitchen table, where most neighborhood conversations start. Hoodies make sense for the cold months when a walk around the block is most of the day. Because this is a smaller place name, the designs are best chosen around the person and the story you want the gift to tell.
