About this french gulch gift
French Gulch is a small unincorporated community in Shasta County, California, set in a narrow canyon in the hills above the Trinity Alps. People who live there tend to know each other by first name, and a lot of them have kept a connection to the place even after moving away. A French Gulch shirt works for someone who grew up in the canyon, someone who still lives there, or a visitor who fell in love with the drive in. Because the town is small, the name itself is the story, so a simple design with the name front and center usually reads best. For a grandparent or a longtime resident, a mug is an easy everyday reminder of home. If you want something more personal, add a second line with a year they moved there, the road they live on, or the name of their family's place in the gulch.
