About this gibbon gift
Gibbon is a small town in Nebraska, which means most people who wear this word are either from there or have a soft spot for a place that doesn't show up on many maps. A gibbon tee is a quiet way to say where you're from, the kind of shirt that gets a second look from another Nebraskan at the grocery store. Gibbon is also the name of a small ape, so the word works for animal lovers too, especially anyone who has a favorite primate or a kid going through an animal phase. For a Gibbon native who moved away, an 11 oz mug is the everyday reminder of home. For a family with a new baby, a onesie that reads Gibbon is a gift that ties the child to a place their grandparents probably still talk about. Type a second line, a year or a family name, and the design becomes theirs.
