About this gibson island gift
Gibson Island is a small, gated island community on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, and the people who belong to it tend to be tied to the water in a real way. Many spend summers there on the same porch year after year, sailing, paddling, or watching the boats come in off the bay. A shirt with the island's name is a way of saying where they're from and what they love, whether they live there full time or just come back every July. Because the island is small, a Gibson Island tee or hoodie tends to get noticed and start conversations between people who recognize the name. For a friend or relative who still calls the island home, or who misses it from far away, a design they can wear on the bay, the golf course, or a winter walk will feel personal. Make it theirs by adding a second line with a family name, a year they first arrived, or a boat name.
