About this great barrington gift
Great Barrington is a small town in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, the kind of place where people know the name of the coffee shop owner and the hardware store clerk. Someone from there, or someone who has spent summers or years in the Berkshire hills, often carries that town with them long after they leave. A shirt or mug with Great Barrington on it is a way to hold onto that. Rolling hills, old main streets and long autumn walks are the sort of things a local or a former resident will recognize at a glance. For the person who moved away for a job or school, a Great Barrington hoodie is a reminder of cold mornings and familiar roads. Add a second line for a neighborhood, a street or the year they moved away, and the design stops being a generic town souvenir and becomes theirs.
