About this hatton gift
Hatton is a small place name, and there's not much I can say with confidence about the town itself, so the best approach is to think about the person who'd be wearing or drinking from this. Someone with a Hatton connection probably wants something that says where they're from without needing an explanation to anyone who asks. A tee or hoodie with the town name is a quiet way to claim a hometown, especially for someone who has moved away and keeps running into people who've never heard of it. Hometown gifts land best when they feel personal, so put a year on it, the year they left or the year they came back, or add a second line with a street name or their family's name. A mug works well for the kitchen table, where people end up telling stories about where they grew up. Kids' versions and onesies let a family wear the same place name together, which is a nice way to pass the connection down.
