Hillrose Echo Stack mug

About this hillrose gift

Hillrose is a small place, which means the people who call it home usually have a strong attachment to it. Someone from a small town tends to carry it with them: at the county fair, at a reunion, on a trip where they meet someone who has never heard of it. A shirt or mug with the town name is how they say so without a long explanation. If you don't know much about Hillrose yourself, that's fine. Ask the recipient what they'd want on the front and what they'd put underneath, whether that's a street, a school year, or just a line about where they're from. Many designs have a second line, so the town can stand alone or sit next to a detail only they would recognize. Small-town pride usually shows up most at the places where people gather, so a shirt for the homecoming weekend or the family visit tends to get worn more than one bought as a generic souvenir.
