About this holyrood gift
Holyrood is the name of a place, a palace and a parliament in Edinburgh, so a shirt with the word on it tends to start a conversation with anyone who knows the city. For the person who lives there, or who spent a semester studying in Edinburgh and still talks about it, a Holyrood design says they belong to that corner of Scotland. The word works well on a light tee for a walk along the Royal Mile in summer, and a dark hoodie suits the cold, damp evenings the city is known for. A mug is a good pick for the Edinburgh fan who starts the day with a cup of tea. Add a second line with a street, a year, or the name of a neighborhood to make it personal. Holyrood is also a name people in other places may carry, so it's worth checking which Holyrood you mean before you choose a design.
