About this horton gift
Horton is a name with a bit of a story behind it: Dr. Seuss's elephant Horton, the faithful one who sat on the egg and never gave up on it. Plenty of Horton families have fun with that, and a shirt or mug with the name on it becomes an easy running joke at reunions and family gatherings. Horton is also a name carried by people who simply show up for each other, which makes it a good fit for a family picnic tee or a matching shirt for a group trip. For a new baby with the name, a onesie or kids tee gives the family something to keep. If you're buying for a Horton who loves a bit of whimsy, a hoodie or mug is a quiet nod to the elephant without making it the whole gift. You can add a family year, a hometown or a first name on the second line, so the shirt feels like theirs rather than a generic last-name tee.
