About this humeston gift
Humeston is a small town in south-central Iowa, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Small-town gifts land best when they feel like home rather than a souvenir, so a shirt or mug with the town name is a good place to start. Many former residents who moved away still follow the high school sports, the county fair and the summer homecoming, and a Humeston hoodie is the kind of thing they'll wear on a cold trip back. Add a year on the second line, like the year they graduated or the year they moved, and the design turns into a small piece of their own story. For the grandparent still living there, a mug with the town name is an everyday reminder that someone in the family thinks about them.
