About this iroquois gift
Iroquois is a small city in Illinois, a farming and river town most people only pass on the way somewhere else. The people who grew up there tend to carry it with them, and a shirt with the name is how they claim it at a reunion, a high school class event or a visit back home. Iroquois also names a people and a confederacy of nations in the Northeast, so some buyers will be shopping for someone with that heritage, and the design should be chosen with care and with the recipient's own preference in mind. For the hometown gift, a tee or hoodie with the town name and a year, graduation or the year they left, carries the most meaning. A mug suits the person who now lives far away and wants a daily reminder of where they started.
