About this jamestown gift
Jamestown can mean a lot of things depending on who's wearing it. There's the historic Virginia settlement, the Rhode Island island town, the New York city on Chautauqua Lake, and plenty of smaller places that share the name. Someone from Jamestown often carries that name with real pride, whether they grew up there, went to school there, or just never stopped feeling connected to the place. A shirt or hoodie with the town name is a simple way to say where they're from without a long explanation. Add the year they graduated from the local high school, a neighborhood, or a street, and it becomes theirs in particular. A mug works well for the person who moved away and still wants a daily reminder of home. If you're not sure which Jamestown they're connected to, ask them first, because the right design depends on the answer.
