About this lackawaxen gift
Lackawaxen is a small place, and people who come from there tend to hold on to it. It's a name that takes a second to say, and that's part of the fun: anyone who's from there knows exactly what it means, and anyone who isn't will ask. A shirt with Lackawaxen on it is how a former resident wears their hometown to a city where nobody has heard of it, or how a family that spent summers there keeps those years close. Because the name is uncommon, a shirt or mug with it is a conversation starter. You can add a second line with a year, a street, or the name of the family who lived there, so the design tells a story only the recipient fully gets. For a homesick grad or a relative who still gets back for the holidays, a Lackawaxen hoodie or mug is a gift that says you remember where they came from.
