About this latham gift
Latham is a small place, and that matters for a gift. It's the kind of name that tells you someone grew up somewhere people know each other, or has a strong attachment to a town that doesn't show up on most maps. Latham, NY is the one most people would guess, but a Latham shirt can just as easily be for someone from a different Latham or someone whose family name is tied to one. Since the word could point to a few different places, the best move is to make the gift about the person's own connection to it. Add the year they moved, the street they lived on, or the high school class they graduated in on the second line. A hoodie with that detail is something they can wear around town for years. A mug on the kitchen table, with Latham and a line only they would recognize, turns a plain place name into a small piece of their story.
