About this magazine gift
Magazine is a Boston street and also a New Orleans streetcar line, and most people who'd buy a Magazine gift probably know it as one of those two. The word has a few different people behind it: someone who grew up on Magazine Street, a transplant who misses the Garden District, or a New Orleans fan who wants a little local pride in their closet. A tee or hoodie with Magazine on the front and a second line for the neighborhood, the year they moved, or a favorite bakery makes it theirs. Because Magazine Street is a long, colorful stretch, a mug fits the routine of someone who starts the day with coffee and a walk. If you're not sure of the details, ask what they call the place, then type that in exactly.
