About this maiden rock gift
Maiden Rock is a small village on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi River, where the bluffs rise straight up from the water and the town is small enough that everyone seems to know each other. People who grew up there, or who spent summers on the river nearby, often stay attached to the place long after they move on. A Maiden Rock shirt is a quiet way to say where you're from, and it suits the person who still goes back for the fall colors on the bluffs or the view over the river at dusk. Because it's a small place, most people who buy a Maiden Rock gift will know exactly why it matters. You can make it theirs by adding a year, a graduation class or a family name on the second line, so it says more than the town name alone. For a grandparent or a former resident who moved away, a mug with the town on it gives them something to hold while they remember the river.
