About this manchaca gift
Manchaca is a small unincorporated community just south of Austin, Texas, along the old road that runs toward Buda, and most people who live there will tell you it has a character of its own that the city doesn't quite capture. A Manchaca shirt is a way to wear that. It's a good fit for someone who grew up there, for a neighbor who has been in the area for decades, or for a friend who moved away and misses the particular feel of the place. Because the community is small and not a major tourist destination, a shirt with the name on it will stand out in a way a generic Austin tee won't. Add a second line for a street, a school or a year they lived there, and it becomes personal. A mug is a quiet choice for the kitchen of someone who's been away for a while and wants a daily reminder of home.
