About this maquoketa gift
Maquoketa is a small city in eastern Iowa, the kind of place where people know each other by name and a hometown shirt gets noticed at the grocery store. A lot of people who grew up there move away for school or work and keep the connection through things they wear and drink from. A Maquoketa shirt works as a homecoming gift, something to pull out for a visit or a summer trip back. For someone who stayed, it says they're proud of where they live. Because it's a small town, a shirt with a second line for a neighborhood, a street, or the year they graduated makes it theirs. A mug suits the person who misses the place on quiet mornings, and a hoodie covers the Iowa winters they still know well.
